Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved in Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor's' Workshop located in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk got a baby who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's TV work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans her good news that she had become pregnant during the filming of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to working. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production for the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has gained a large presence on social media.
